The Black Satin Letterman Varsity Jacket from DearVarsity is the sukajan reinterpreted for those who wear their references with confidence. Built on a relaxed hip-length silhouette with a 3cm drop shoulder, this jacket is cut from 65–80gsm lightweight charmeuse satin — fluid, high-sheen on the face, matte on the reverse, draping against the body rather than sitting on it. A gold YKK zip with oversized ring pull runs center front, and black ribbed cuffs, collar, and hem keep the silhouette clean and tight.

The back is the main event. A full sukajan-style dragon coils across the entire back panel in gold and red embroidery directly on black satin — dragon head upper right, tail lower left, white cloud wisps threading through the composition. Gold metallic thread occupying 90% of the back panel — the classic Japanese sukajan recomposition executed with complete authority. The front carries a large tiger face in gold metallic thread on the left chest — 12x10cm, highly detailed, embroidered directly on satin, not a patch. A decorative gothic ornamental arch in red embroidery sits on the right chest. Tracking Your Order

You will receive dispatch confirmation and tracking details by email as soon as your parcel leaves us, and you can follow it any time from our Track Order page. Delivery time depends on your destination; your tracking link carries the courier's current estimate for your address.

Returns & Exchanges

If something is not right, contact our support team within 14 days of delivery to start a return or a size exchange.

Items should be unworn and unused, in original condition, with packaging and tags where applicable.

How to Measure

To get accurate measurements, use a soft measuring tape and follow these steps:

Chest – Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape parallel to the floor.
Waist – Measure around your natural waistline, just above your hips.
Hips – Measure around the fullest part of your hips.
Sleeve Length – Measure from the shoulder seam to the wrist.
Shoulder Width – Measure across the back from one shoulder seam to the other.
Jacket Length – Measure from the base of your neck to the desired jacket hem.
