Why Dear Varsity Exists
We started Dear Varsity after seeing the same problem again and again.
If you wanted a varsity jacket, you had two choices.
Overpriced “official” versions sold through school
partnerships. Or cheap online versions that looked good in photos but disappointed in real life.
Neither felt right.
We knew quality construction didn’t have to mean inflated pricing. And affordability didn’t have to mean
cutting corners. So in 2019, we built Dear Varsity around a simple idea: premium materials, honest pricing,
zero shortcuts.
What We Do Differently

We use heavyweight melton wool that actually insulates. Genuine leather sleeves with natural grain.
Ribbing that keeps its shape after real wear.

Double-stitched stress points. Reinforced pockets. Hardware tested before shipping.

Precise embroidery. Proper stitch density. Chenille patches sewn, never glued. Every design approved
before production begins.

Premium materials cost more. Skilled labor costs more. Quality control costs more.
We don’t hide that.
Instead of inflating margins because we can, we price fairly because we plan to be here long-term.
